Samson Siasia has expressed his desire to manage the Super Eagles again.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is yet to appoint a new head coach for the Super Eagles two months after former international winger Finidi George left the post.
Siasia is free to return to the dugout after serving a five-year ban for match-fixing.
The former Nantes of France striker stated that he is open to managing the Nigerian national team again.
“I am not a messiah; however, we need to sit down and identify our priorities,” Siasia said on Kennis 104.1FM’s Sports Salsa.
“We will see how things unfold.”
Siasia has managed the Super Eagles twice in the past.
The 57-year-old succeeded Swedish coach Lars Lagerback in November 2010 but was fired in October 2011 after failing to take the team to the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
He had a brief stint with the team again in 2016 after the resignation of Sunday Oliseh.
