SDP Can’t Be Trade For Food–SDP, Falae Disown Omisore

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has distanced itself from inter party negotiations and conclusions reached with the All progressives Congress, APC by Senator Iyiola Omisore, its Osun State governorship candidate, where it struck a deal to work for the candidate of the APC in today’s rerun votes in Osun State.

Also, the National Chairman of the party, SDP, Chief Olu Falae, has also distanced self from the said deal struck with APC by Omisore.

Chief Falae said that he was not consulted before the candidate of the party in the gubernatorial election in Osun State took the decision to work for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola in today’s rerun election.

The SDP, in a statement issued yesterday night, through its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Alfa Mohammed, said that the party “is too big for one man to trade it as a mere barter, a development he said was not acceptable to the organ of the party, ”

The Party said the SDP is not involved in the coalition.
