Pro-Aiyedatiwa Thugs Attacked My Official Vehicle, Staff – Ondo Lawmaker, Ayebusiwa alleges

The member representing Okitipupa Constituency I and Chairman, House Committee on Tertiary Institutions, Honorable Chris Ayebusiwa, has raised alarm over attack on his staff and official vehicle by political thugs.

In a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Advocacy, Kehinde Akinyemi, and released to the press, Ayebusiwa said his black GAC official car was assailed by the louts and three of his staff aboard, including the driver and civil defense officer, were assaulted by the thugs who attacked with a pro-Aiyedatiwa’s branded Sienna bus and clad in Aiyedatiwa’s campaign face caps.

The Statement reads: “The official vehicle belonging to the honourable member of Ondo State House of Assembly who represents Okitipupa Constituency I, Hon Chris Ayebusiwa, has been attacked by weapon-wielding hoodlums. The incidence which left the vehicle visibly damaged happened around 4.pm on Saturday, along Oba-Adesida road, Oja-Oba axis, Akure, Ondo State Capital.

“The black GAC official car of the legislator was assailed by the louts. Three of his personal staff aboard, including the driver and civil defense officer, were assaulted by the thugs who attacked with a pro-Aiyedatiwa’s branded Sienna bus and clad in Aiyedatiwa’s campaign face caps.”

The attack on the legislator, according to the statement, has since been reported to the law enforcement agencies in the state.
