Police Arrest One For Inciting Violence In Planned Protest In Jos

One Sulaiman Yakubu inciting violence on government properties and Jos residents in the coming planned protest has been arrested by the operatives of Plateau State Police Command.

The information available indicates that the suspect on 25th July 2024 called on the residents on a social media platform to launch mayhem within Jos South, Jos East, and Jos North on fuel stations, police stations, military barracks, the commercial business centre known as Yankwalli and Terminus markets, and the notable politicians.

Following his arrest on 28th July 2024, the suspect admits to all the allegations and he is currently in the police custody.
