From Akure, the Ondo State capital, our correspondent sighted some political Billboards belonging to the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) and that of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Agboola Ajayi that were reportedly destroyed by unknown suspected political thugs.

From the pictures below, ZLP Billboard was completely uprooted while that of Jegede of the PDP was torn and that of Akeredolu of the APC remained unscathed.

Our reporter gathered that it was the same story in virtually all the strategic places in Akure where political Billboard are being erected.
