Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano State, Senator Mas’ud El-Jibrial Doguwa has said the party is expecting Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso to join the party soon.
Doguwa stated this in an interview with Daily Trust on Friday.
He said consultations were still on to convince the former governor to dump the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and return to his former party ahead of the 2019 general elections.
Doguwa said the necessary arrangements were being made to receive Senator Kwankwaso.
According to him, “The consultations are at the national level to convince the former governor to dump the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and return to his former party ahead of theconduct of 2019 general elections.
“But the Kano state wing of the party has made all the necessary arrangements to receive Senator Kwankwaso.”
