Pastor, Family Abducted in Ondo, N75m Ransom Demanded

A clergyman, his wife, and two children were abducted while traveling along the Ise Akoko-Iboropa road in Akoko North-East, Ondo State.

The victims, identified as Reverend Olowolagba and his family, were intercepted by unknown gunmen and taken into the forest.

The incident occurred last Sunday between Isua and Ise-Akoko. It was only discovered the following morning when the family’s absence raised concerns.

Initially, the abductors demanded a N10 million ransom but later increased it to N75 million after failed negotiations.

Security forces, including the Amotekun Corps, are collaborating to secure the family’s release. Community leaders have called for intensified prayers, urging residents to remain vigilant.

So far, the police have stated that the case has not been formally reported to their command.
