PDP 2020 gubernatorial aspirant, Otunba Bamidele Akingboye (OBA), has lost his mother at the late hours of yesterday.
In a statement personally signed by the business tycoon and philanthropist on behalf of the family, Otunba Akingboye said his mother died at her country home, in Owo, Ondo State, having had some cheerful moments with her children and some family members earlier.
Akingboye described his late mother as a hardworking, disciplined and dedicated mother and community leader whose impact reflects on all that passed through her.
While thanking God for a life well spent, the Chairman and Fouder of OBA Foundation said further announcements will be made when burial arrangements are concluded.
The statement read in part “In submission to the will of God Almighty, we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Princess Margaret Mojisola Akingboye.
“She answered God’s calling at her Owo residence late yesterday after a cheerful moment with her children and some family members.
“She was a hardworking, disciplined and dedicated mother and community leader whose impact reflects on all that passed through her.
“Mama will be greatly missed, but we take solace in the fruitful and productive life she lived; more so, that she has gone to rest with her creator.”
