Otiko Creative Academy Boss Applauds FG’s New School Curriculum

The Executive Director of Otiko Creative Academy, Hon. Arogbo Sunday Oladipupo, has applauded the Federal Ministry of Education over its recent review of the national curricula for primary and secondary schools across the country.

In a statement issued on Friday, Arogbo described the development as “timely and visionary,” noting with satisfaction the emphasis placed on creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship training in the new framework.

According to him, the progressive step is equipping pupils and students not only with academic knowledge but also with practical life skills that will position them as problem-solvers, wealth creators, and leaders of tomorrow.

He stressed that education must transcend the four walls of the classroom, adding that the revised curricula reflect a much-needed shift towards preparing Nigerian children for the realities of a rapidly changing world.

Arogbo, however, urged the government to sustain the reform through teacher training, resource provision, and effective monitoring in order to ensure its full impact is felt nationwide.

“Otiko Creative Academy remains committed to partnering with government and other stakeholders in building an education system that truly empowers the Nigerian child,” he said.

The Federal Government had earlier announced that the revised curricula will take effect in schools across the country from September 2025.
