Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun East Senatorial District have declared their support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Ademola Adeleke, endorsing them for re-election ahead of the 2026 and 2027 polls.
The endorsement was announced in a statement by the senatorial leader, Akindele Famuyide, following the party’s monthly meeting held on Thursday.
Famuyide praised both Tinubu and Adeleke for what he described as their exemplary leadership and delivery of democratic dividends.
He stated that the group’s decision was a unanimous one, reflecting their satisfaction with the performance of the two leaders.
“The Osun East PDP endorses President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke for a second term. Their track records in governance have earned our trust and confidence,” he said.
He commended President Tinubu’s infrastructure initiatives and economic policies, saying these reforms have begun to reduce food prices and improve national security.
Famuyide also emphasized that the endorsement was more than a symbolic gesture, calling it a clear sign of unity and resolve among members of the Osun East PDP bloc.
“There is no credible opposition within our ranks. We are fully united behind this decision,” he concluded.
