One feared dead, six injured in Ogun accident

An accident occurred at approximately 9:48 am on Sunday at the Sagamu Express junction in Ogun State’s Sagamu Local Government Area, leaving one person feared dead and six others injured to varying degrees.

According to The PUNCH, Babatunde Akinbiyi, the spokesperson for the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, reported that the crash involved a Bus Mass Transit vehicle and a truck.

Akinbiyi said, “There is a fatal road traffic accident involving a BMT bus and a truck inbound at Sagamu Express Junction. One person is presumed dead and six others have sustained serious injuries. Rescue operations are ongoing.”
