Ondo Poll: Former Lawmakers pass vote of confidence on Akeredolu

Former members of the Ondo State House of Assembly in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have passed a vote of confidence on Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu ahead of the governorship election on October 10,2020.

In a communique issued by the former Lawmakers on Wednesday, they unanimously declared supports for Akeredolu’s re-election ahead of the poll.

The communique reads:

COMMUNIQUE OF FORMER HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY MEMBERS OF ONDO STATE ON THE PLATFORM OF ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC)

Rising from the meeting of former members of Ondo State House of Assembly, this day 27th August 2020, members resolve as follows: that having examined the performances of the Akeredolu-led administration in various sectors Viz; fostering of relative peace, road construction, healthcare delivery, humans capital development, education, security network, industrialization e.t.c.

We unanimously pass a vote of confidence on the administration with the full support of our mammoth supporters across the nooks and crannies of the State.

In view of the above, we therefore solicit the support of the electorates for the Continuity of good governance which he has laid in the best interest of all and sundry in Ondo State.

It is our candid belief and utmost convinction, God willing, that at the end of another four years of Governor Akeredolu’s administration, Ondo State will stand tall in the comity of States in Nigeria.
