Okunomo donates gift items to mother of triplets whose husband ran away in Ondo

Ondo State PDP governorship Aspirant, Banji Okunomo, on Thursday, donated gift items to Mrs Janet Godwin, the mother of triplets whose husband ran away after delivery of the babies at Mother and Child Hospital in Akure, Ondo State.

The items were basically Children materials such as Pampers, Clothes, baby food, with an undisclosed huge amount of money.

The Nursing officer of the Hospital, Momoh Adeyomola, who received the gift items on behalf of Mrs Godwin, appreciated Okunomo for his kindness.

She said the babies’ mother smiled for the very first time following Okunomo’s visit since she was admitted into this hospital, because her husband ran away the moment news of the delivery of the triplets reached him. She thereby thanked Okunomo for coming at a crucial time to assist the woman.

The mother of the triplets, Mrs Godwin, also expressed appreciation.

Okunomo said the privilege of conception and birthing of a baby is a divine arrangement on the platform of God’s mercy, saying that he felt very much concerned about the woman and her babies since the news got to him that the father of the babies has run away.
