Ondo State Government has cancelled the February 2024 edition of environmental sanitation exercise in the state.

A statement by the General Manager, Ondo State Waste Management Authority, Mr. Adefola Omowole, said the cancellation is as a result of the ongoing final burial ceremony of former Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

Mr Omowole however urged residents of the state to use the period to clean their surroundings.

He assured residents of the present administration’s commitment towards regaining the lost glory of the most cleanliness state in the country.
