Journalists have allegedly been denied access as the Ondo State Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Akure is set to deliver judgement in the case between the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Eyitayo Jegede and Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Starnews Nigeria reports that no journalist was given access to the zoom room despite covering the sitting from the outset.

It could be recalled that the judgement was shifted from Wednesday, tomorrow, April 21, 2021, for today and the judgement was made virtual without any official reasons, Starnews Nigeria can report.

Starnews Nigeria further learnt that some lawyers to the two parties are yet to have access to the zoom meeting as at the time of filing this report.

The Tribunal secretary, Jamil bako Musa, did not pick his calls since last night for press inquiry.
