Ondo Boy Who Allegedly Killed Brother Dies After Mob Attack

A young boy named Emmanuel, accused of killing his brother Daniel in a gruesome incident, has reportedly died from injuries he sustained after being attacked by a mob in Ondo State.

Residents said the suspect was apprehended shortly after the crime and beaten by angry locals before being taken into police custody. He was later hospitalized but was unable to recover from the injuries.

Confirming the incident with our correspondent, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Olayinka Alayande said, “Yes, the suspect died in the hospital.”

The incident occurred on Monday around the Origbara River in Odigbo Local Government Area and has left members of the community in deep shock.

Police investigations are ongoing as efforts continue to unravel the full circumstances surrounding the case.
