Ondo 2024: Akinwunmi picks PDP Nomination Forms of N35M ahead of Primary

One of the governorship aspirants of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Adeolu Akinwunmi has purchased the PDP expression of interest and nomination forms on Friday.

Starnews NG reports that Akinwunmi picked the Thirty Five Million Naira Only (N35, 000, 000) forms at the National Secretariat of the PDP at Wadata Plaza in Abuja, FCT.

He was accompanied by some party leaders and loyalists.

Recall that the NWC of the PDP had on March 7, 2024 advertised the Sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms. The sale of form will close on March 21, 2024.

After one week of the advertisement, Akinwunmi is the first and the only aspirant who has taken the bold step to purchase the N35 million PDP Nomination Forms.

The Gubernatorial primary is scheduled to hold on 25th April, 2024.

Starnews NG reports that the Acting National Chairman of the party, Ambassador Umar Damagum assured all stakeholders that the PDP primary will be transparent and credible.

“The party will provide a level playing ground for all aspirants,” he said.
