The Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) in Ondo State, Rt. Hon. Olabimtan has joined millions of admirers to celebrate the indefatigable Governor of Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, on his 66th birthday.

He also felicitated with the Governor’s wife, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, Ada Owerri 1, who also marked her 69th birthday yesterday.

Olabimtan, in a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists in Akure on Thursday, also used the occasion of the birthday to extol the exemplary courage of the governor, praying that God continue to bless him with wisdom as he climbed the ladder of age.

The former speaker described Akeredolu as a ‘man among men’ who has demonstrated both in thought and actions, that governance is about people’s welfare and as such, has remained true to this sacred ideal in the service of the state in the last 6 years of his administration.

He said that Akeredolu had not only demonstrated the ,’Omoluabi ethos’ of bravery and compassion which the Yoruba people are known and revered for in his private and professional life, but that he had also dedicated his public life for the betterment of humanity as a whole.

According to him, ‘as wine tastes better with age’, so will the governor be wiser and better in wisdom, compassion and knowledge.

“As he grows older, I pray that God in his infinite mercy shall continue to multiply him in wisdom and bless him with good health to continue to remain a beckon of hope to the Yoruba race and humanity as a whole.”
