”I have demonstrated seriousness and capacity by obtaining the relevant forms for the contest ahead of July 22. So, my ambition is not driven by Zoning, though zoning is supported by the Constitution of our party in Chapter 1, Section 7 (3C). But my ambition is driven by all-round development of Human Resources of the state.”

”I will harness the mineral resources in Ondo State to drive the economy. I would establish Ondo State Free Trade Zone to generate employment for our teeming youth and generate money for the state,” he said.

The eloquent Okunomo showcased his erudite scholastic acumen as he addressed the gathering.
He appealed to the youth to support him as he promised to involve them in governance.

He said politicians will not suffer in his government if elected. ”The women and the elders will be given their rightful places. The youths will be involved in governance if elected”, he added.

On inquiry, Okunomo promised to abide by the outcome of a free and fair primary hopefully to be conducted by his party.

”But by the grace of God, I will become the candidate of the party and win the gubernatorial election come October 10. However, I am assuring all the members of our party that I would abide by the outcome of a free and fair primary election”

”Let me conclude by calling on all the social media handlers across all the interest groups within the PDP to stop throwing banters and promote the party to win the election as there is nothing to share in zero, ” he said.
