NPF To Graduate 10,000 Constables

The Nigeria Police Force has completed the training of 10,000 recruit constables, who will officially graduate during a passing-out parade held across several training institutions.

The event will occur at four Police Colleges and 12 Training Schools, where Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun will serve as the reviewing officer.

The recruits underwent months of rigorous physical and mental training designed to prepare them for Nigeria’s evolving security challenges, Naija News reports.

They are now equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to address crime effectively while maintaining professionalism and respect for the law.

Once deployed to various state commands, the constables will support community policing initiatives and strengthen local security operations.

Their presence is expected to improve crime response, foster public trust, and enhance collaboration between the police and communities.

This move is part of ongoing efforts by the Nigeria Police to boost its workforce and improve its capacity to handle the nation’s complex security needs.

The leadership of the Force has expressed confidence in the new recruits, expecting them to serve with integrity, dedication, and discipline.
