Niger LG Chairman Dies in Road Accident

Tragedy struck Niger State as the chairman of Katcha Local Government Area, Danlami Abdullahi Saku, lost his life in a road accident along the Minna-Suleja highway.

The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Tuesday near Kwakwuti while he was traveling to Abuja.

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago expressed sorrow over the loss, describing it as a painful event for the state.

He extended condolences to the bereaved family, residents of Katcha, and the entire Niger State community.

The governor urged the people to find solace in their faith during this challenging time, acknowledging life’s transient nature.
