Popular skitmaker and musician, Lawal Nasiru, known as Nasboi, has survived a car crash during a road trip aimed at securing a musical collaboration with Afrobeats star, Davido.
Nasboi, who had embarked on a tour across Nigeria’s 36 states to attract Davido’s attention, revealed that his vehicle collided with a parked trailer. The exact location of the incident was not disclosed.
Following the accident, Nasboi went live on social media to assure fans of his safety. He appeared calm in the video and expressed gratitude that no one was injured.
“This could have happened in Lagos, too. I don’t even know how it happened; I’m just laughing. At this point, I think I need to give up. Thank God nobody was injured or killed. We are all good,” he said.
The accident has sparked reactions from fans online, many of whom expressed relief over his safety and encouraged him not to give up on his dream collaboration.
Nasboi’s effort to connect with Davido highlights the lengths emerging artists go to in pursuit of their musical aspirations.
