•  Commends Akeredolu over consistent zeal to industrialize Ondo State

Pastor Olusegun Aiyerin, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), has applauded the illustrious sons and daughters, and friends of the Ilutitun Morubodo community for their robust donations towards the ongoing construction of ₦100 million central palace project for the community.

Starnews Nigeria reports that a Fund Raising Ceremony to support the ongoing construction of Oba’s palace was part of the event organised to mark the 2021 Morubodo Day Celebrations which took place on Saturday, November 27, 2021.

Addressing pressmen after the event, Pastor Aiyerin, the Secretary of Morubodo Development Council, who could not hide his joy, expressed satisfaction on the large turnout of prominent sons and daughters who graced the occasion and contributed immensely towards the project.

Aiyerin, a two-term chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, said the event remained the best in terms of quality of crowd, donations, and other deliverables.

He also used the opportunity to commend Governor Odunayo Akeredolu over what he described as the consistent zeal to industrialize Ondo State.

“I commend Governor Odunayo Akeredolu’s consistent zeal to industrialize Ondo State. I must say that recent appointment of Directors to the Boards of some comatose companies in a bid to revamp them is laudable”.

“Of particular note, the quest and the eagerness of Mr. Governor to re-engineer and reposition for a greater level of performance and profitability, the Okitipupa Oil Palm Company (OOPC) is highly commendable. I also thank the Governor over the Ondo-Linyi industrial park initiatives which have given birth to several production factories and in return, created thousands of employment opportunities for the citizens of the state.”

“It is gratifying to know that Mr. Governor’s efforts are beginning to bear fruits bountifully with some of these companies now declaring dividends”, Pastor Aiyerin said.

Pastor Aiyerin, a former Commissioner for Agriculture in Ondo State was full of gratitude to all the government representatives in attendance, using Princess Oladunni Odu, the Secretary to Ondo State Government as well as the Chairperson of the day as a point of contact to others.

At the event, the Executive Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, Hon. Igbekele Akinrinwa and his wife, Mrs. Idowu Akinrinwa, Barrister Morayo Lebi, the Chairman of the day; Engr. Deji Ogunsoto, the Chief Launcher, and Ambassador (Chief) Barrister Sola Iji, the Araba of Apoiland, were also in attendance.
