LASU postpones convocation

The Lagos State University has postponed its convocation till further notice.

A statement by the Coordinator, Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations, Ademola Adekoya, said the postponement was in view of the unrest in Lagos and the country.

The statement reads partly, “The management, at a meeting held with deans of faculties on Tuesday, 27th October, 2020, decided that the forthcoming 24th convocation ceremonies of the university, earlier rescheduled to hold between Friday, 30th October and Friday, 6th November, 2020, be postponed till further notice.

“The postponement is in view of the recent happenings in the state and the country. A new date would be communicated in due course.”
