Lagos Assembly condemns murder of Monarch’s son, calls for Investigation

The Lagos State House of Assembly yesterday condemned the murder of Prince Kazeem Ademola Akinloye, the eldest son of the Ojomu of Ajiran land, Oba Tijani Akinloye, calling it a brutal and criminal act.

The Assembly called on Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to launch a thorough investigation into the incident to ensure that justice is served for the grieving family.

During the session, the House observed a minute of silence in honor of the deceased and resolved to send a condolence letter to the Ojomu royal family.

A statement by Eromosele Ebhomele, Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, revealed that Ademola was tragically shot and stabbed to death on August 26 at Chevron Drive, Lekki, Lagos.
