JAMB Reschedules 2025 UTME Start Date to April 24

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has shifted the start of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination to Thursday, April 24.

The exam was earlier planned to begin on Friday, April 25.

This change was made to allow the board and its partner agencies manage other scheduled activities properly.

The announcement was made on Saturday through JAMB’s official X handle, with details provided by its Public Communication Advisor.

The board also informed candidates that they can now print their examination slips starting from Saturday, April 19.

These slips include important details such as the exact date and time of each candidate’s exam, the venue, and other instructions they will need for the exercise.

To print the slip, candidates are expected to go to JAMB’s official website, click on “2025 UTME Slip Printing,” enter their registration number, and print out the document.

The board advised all candidates to visit their exam centres before their scheduled date.

This is to help them avoid any stress or confusion on the actual exam day.

JAMB also made it clear that all candidates will be assigned centres within the towns they chose during registration.

No one will be sent outside their chosen location.

This new arrangement is meant to give candidates enough time to prepare and avoid last-minute issues that may arise due to logistics or unfamiliarity with their centres.
