Iran has refused to enter talks with the United States as clashes with Israel continue.
The country made its position clear through its foreign minister, who accused the US of supporting Israel’s recent military actions against Iran.
The announcement came during a live address on Iranian state television.
The minister said that American officials had sent messages hoping to start negotiations, but Iran would not respond as long as the attacks continued.
He also claimed that Washington was backing what he called Israeli aggression.
The tension comes amid growing pressure from the United States. President Donald Trump recently used social media to urge Iran to return to the negotiating table, especially over its nuclear programme.
He said the US had full control over Iran’s skies and warned that they knew where the Iranian leader was staying, though there were no plans to strike—for now.
Trump also warned that further attacks on American forces or civilians would not be accepted, saying patience was running low.
