Group mobilises support for Atiku, holds southwest summit in Ibadan

 

The summit organized by Atiku Southwest Assembly was held on Thursday at the Premier Hotel in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The summit attracted PDP faithful across the six southwest states.

The convener of the summit and southwest chairman of Atiku Southwest Assembly, Hon. Kola Ogunwale, enjoined the party faithful to rally around Atiku while describing the PDP presidential candidate as a unifier.

He said that Atiku is the only person that could rescue Nigeria from the Myriads of Problems APC has plunged Nigerians into.

He also said further that one of the aims of the summit is to strategize ahead of the 2023 election.

In his speech, Hon. Oladimeji Fabiyi, the Director General of Atiku support groups who represented the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and the Chief host, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State welcomed everybody who graced the occasion.

He said Atiku is the unifier who can unify Nigeria. He declared that the purpose of the meeting was to see how the PDP and its candidate, Atiku will win the 2023 general election in the southwest.

Dignitaries that graced the occasion include the PDP southwest Zonal chairman, Soji Adagunodo, and the PDP Deputy National secretary, Hon Setonji Koshonedo.

Others present at the occasion were Sen Adenigba Fadahunsi, Hon. Fatai Adams, State Chairman of Ondo State PDP, Hon Festus Akingbaso, PDP House of Representatives candidate for ldanre/Ifedore Federal constituency, and the Southwest Organizing Secretary, Hon Benson Amuwa, with a host of others.
