Grassroots Network Pays Condolence Visit to Family of Late SSG

The Grassroots Network, a political group comprising pioneer Local Government Chairmen and Supervisors from Dr Olusegun Mimiko’s administration in Ondo State, has extended its condolences to the family of the late Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi.

The group, of which Hon. Oluwatuyi was a member during his tenure as Chairman of Akure South Local Government between 2009 and 2011, visited the family at the official residence of their departed colleague.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by Olu Johnson Egbodofo on behalf of the group.

Speaking during the visit, Dr Dapo Iwala, former Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, described Hon. Oluwatuyi, fondly called Tukana, as a grassroots politician who embodied humility, loyalty, care, and patriotism.

He praised the late SSG for serving Ondo State meritoriously until his passing. “We have indeed lost a true friend and trusted ally,” Dr Iwala remarked.

Accompanied by their wives, members of the group also prayed for divine strength for the family to bear the loss.
