Gbenga Akinrinlola, popularly known as Arsenal, has congratulated Dr. Jide Martins Adewinle, on his nomination as a member of the board of the South West Development Commission (SWDC).

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had, earlier in the week, approved Adewinle’s nomination into the board of the Commission, a move that has been widely acknowledged across the South-West geopolitical zone.

In his congratulatory message, the renowned APC chieftain, Akinrinlola described the nomination as a well-deserved recognition of Adewinle’s commitment to regional development and service to humanity.

“I extend my warm congratulations to Dr. Jide Martins Adewinle on his nomination to the board of the South West Development Commission by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This is a significant milestone and a reflection of his dedication to public service and grassroots development,” the statement reads.

Akinrinlola expressed confidence that Adewinle, whom he described as a visionary with a passion for uplifting communities, would bring value to the Commission’s objectives and contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic growth of the region.

He commended President Tinubu for considering a technocrat with proven experience, stressing that Adewinle’s appointment aligns with the administration’s goal of promoting inclusive development across the country.

According to him, Adewinle’s years of active involvement in community development, youth empowerment and policy advocacy make him a fitting choice for the Commission’s board, especially at a time when the South-West is in need of practical and sustainable solutions to its developmental challenges.
