Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate is one the Minister Nominees under the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Administration. These are five things to know about him.

1. He is the son of a fulani herdsman and the first in his family to complete a secondary school education

2. prof. Pate graduated from high school to enter the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) medical school in Kaduna State, Nigeria.

3. He was the Global Director, Health, Nutrition and Population (HNP) Global Practice of the World Bank and the Director of Global Financing Facility for Women, Children and Adolescents (GFF), based in Washington DC.

4. He was the former Chief Executive Director of the National Primary Health Development Agency.

5. Prof. Pate was the former Minister of State for Health under the Jonathan’s regime. He is from Bauchi State, Nigeria.
