Five suspected kidnappers arrested in Ogun

Police have arrested five suspected kidnappers in Ogun State.

The suspects, Aliu Manya, Usman Abubakar, Abayomi Olayiwola, Nasiru Muhammad and Bello Usman, who allegedly carried out a kidnap operation recently, were arrested in a forest in the Eleja area of Obada Oko by a team of policemen, So-Safe Corps, hunters and vigilantes after a tip-off.

Police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the arrest in a statement yesterday.

A brother of one of the victims, who reportedly took ransom cash to them, also identified two of the suspects as those who collected the money from him, it was said
