Fire fighters are grappling to quench a ravaging fire at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.

The inferno caused a power outage at the E-Arrival area, leaving travellers stranded.

Witnesses said thick smoke emanated from the affected section, prompting workers and passengers to evacuate to the larger departure hall.

Despite the chaos, normal operations continue at the terminal.

Firefighting personnels and equipment have been deployed to extinguish the flames, while the cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
