According to the lawmaker, he took the action to encourage his people to return to farming.

He posted, “Today, at the Amassa Ntigha Mini Stadium built by my humble self, we trained more than 600 constituents drawn from Umuoha, Ngwa Ukwu and Ntigha wards of Isiala Ngwa North Local Government.

“We trained them on the modern Agricultural Practices and gave them improved seedlings like, Palm, tomatoes, paper, okra, cucumber, maize, yam, etc and cassava stems, yam they were also given fertilizer.

“These improved seedlings and stems were sourced outside our constituency, the essence of this program is to encourage our people to return back to farming and domesticate these improved seedlings and stems in our constituency.

“By my assessment it was successful and the participants are happy, our target is 2000 participants in Isiala Ngwa North and South Local Governments.”
