Father declared wanted for defiling three-year-old daughter

Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, the Minister of Women Affairs, has announced a one million naira reward for the capture of Magnus Okpalannadi, 62, who is accused of defiling his three-year-old daughter.

This announcement was made in a statement signed by Grace Njoku, Head of Information and Public Relations for the ministry, on Wednesday in Abuja.

Kennedy-Ohanenye revealed that the ministry received a report alleging that Okpalannadi, a resident of Onitsha, Anambra State, had been sexually molesting his young daughter.

Following the discovery of his actions, Okpalannadi reportedly fled before he could be apprehended.

“President Bola Tinubu-led Administration has zero tolerance for child abuse and molestation.

”Hence would ensure the immediate prosecution of the peadophile to serve as deterrent to would-be perpetrators,” she said.

The minister reiterated the commitment of the government to creating a safe environment for its citizens.

Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye further pledged the government’s resolve to protect the rights of every Nigerian child, woman and the vulnerable, and upholding their dignity.
