Ex Ondo speaker and former commissioner dumps APC for PDP

Rt. Hon Abdulsalam Olawale Taofeek, former speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly and former commissioner for works under governor Rotimi Akeredolu has dumped the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) for the opposition People’s Democratic Party in Ondo State.

Starnews NG reports that Rt. Hon. Taofeek dumped the ruling APC on Saturday to pick the membership card of the PDP at Akoko North East Local Government Council Area of Ondo State.

He was received into the PDP by Hon Rasheed Elegbeleye, the minority leader of Ondo State House of assembly and Hon Kareem, the local government chairman of the PDP in Akoko North East LG.

Rt. Hon. Taofeek thanked the leaders and members of the PDP for accepting him into the Party.

He promised to bring more aggrieved members of the ruling party into PDP in a couple of weeks, Starnews NG can report.
