There were party leaders, high net worth individuals, family, associates, friends and well-wishers at various strategic locations in his house.

It looks like a political rally. Even passers-by popularly known as “mo gbo, moya” in the Yoruba language which means, “I heard about it and branch over” were all there to eat and drink.

It wasn’t a political rally anyway. It was the birthday of a foremost Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, Chief Eddy Olafeso.

Starnews Nigeria reports that the atmosphere at his residence in Alagbaka, Akure, the Ondo State capital, was greeted with merriment on Thursday, amidst Biripo Music by the good people of Idepe -Okitioupa who entertained dignitaries at the events.

To many of the dignitaries, it was time to pour encomiums on the celebrant, Dr Olafeso.

According to the Senator representing Ondo South at the National Assembly, Otunba Nicholas Tofowomo,” Olafeso is a visionary leader, a true inspiration to the people and a fantastic role model who would never stop fighting for what he believes.”

Rt. Hon. Jumoke Akindele, the former Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, said” Eddy is a very faithful, consistent, generous and constant personality.

A three-term Lawmaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ifedayo Akinsoyinu, said: “Olafeso is a Manager of men and a leader per excellence who has been leading and managing people from his University days”.

The Immediate past Zonal Publicity Secretary of the PDP in the Southwest, Hon. Ayo Fadaka described Eddy Olafeso as “cerebral, focus and a person of substance”.

To the former Majority Leader of Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Yemi Tadema, “Dr Olafeso is a man of many vibes who represents the true definition of a leader.”

The encomiums continue:

“Dr Eddy Olafeso is a Warrior and that’s why he is called Oloroogun, meaning head of warriors, says Hon. Ebiwonjumi Jona, the former Minority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly.

Another former Lawmaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Niyi Adebusoye described Olafeso as “an arbiter of his word, a generous keeper who would say something and stand by it.”

Barr Olatemiju Bimpe, a former governorship aspirant of the PDP in Ondo State said that “Chief Olafeso is a rare gem, a leader per excellence who is truthful, honest, and a star in the sun”.
