There was mild drama at Ebony Vaults, a funeral home in the Ikoyi area of Lagos where the former Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Honourable Adetoun Adediran who was reported dead was to be buried.
Adediran, a former Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos, breathed her last on Wednesday after a brief illness.
In an unexpected twist of events, the deceased reportedly woke up from the dead moments before her burial at the resting ground slated for 2pm.
According to a video obtained by BlackBox Nigeria, there was wild jubilation following her supposed resurrection as shouts of joy rented the air.
The excitement, however, didn’t last for long after the “resurrected” Adediran died again to the shock of the already ecstatic family members and well wishers.
BlackBox Nigeria later gathered that her remains have since been buried, according to another video seen by our correspondent which captured the funeral procession.
