Chief of Staff to Kwara Gov is dead

Alhaji Mahe Abdulquadri, the Chief of Staff to Kwara state Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is dead.

His passing away was announced by family sources on Saturday.

He reportedly passed away on Saturday at his Adewole residence in Ilorin metropolis.

The 75, Mahe, had served in various capacities at both federal and state levels and is believed to be a strong hopeful of the Emirship throne in Ilorin.

He was a senior staff at the Nigeria Television Authority, NTA, Ilorin, before joining the state civil service, where he served as permanent secretary and clerk of the state House of Assembly before his retirement.

Late Mahe attended the last meeting of the 2024 Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union, IEDPU, held between December 24th and 25th.

Burial arrangements were ongoing at the time of this report.
