Chief Judge Hospitalized as Office Building Collapses on Him In Ekiti

A section of Ekiti State High Court complex on Wednesday collapsed on the State Chief Judge, Justice Oyewole Adeyeye while in the office.

It was learnt Justice Adeyeye who escaped death but sustained serious injury is said to be receiving medical attention at an undisclosed hospital in the state.

The incident was said to have happened around close of work on Wednesday. The judge was still in his chamber at the time of the collapse.

The incident may not be unconnected with structural deficit worsened by the torrential rainfall.

It took serious efforts from workers before the judge was rescued from the rubble, as no life was lost
