CAF Awards: Oshoala, Monday, Waldrum Make Final Shortlists

Super Falcons duo of Asisat Oshoala and Monday Gift alongside their coach Randy Waldrum made the final shortlists of players and coaches for the CAF Awards, Starnews.com.ng reports.

 

The African soccer ruling body released the list of players for the upcoming award with five players from the Super Falcons making the list.

 

As promised, CAF pruned the list on Thursday afternoon down to 10 players for the player’s award and five for the young players award.

 

Expectedly, FC Barcelona Femeni player Oshoala made the final 10-man list while her compatriot Monday Gift was also listed for young player and inter-club player of the year category.

 

Randy Waldrum was listed among 10 coaches considered for Coach of the Year award.

 

The awards will be held on Thursday, 21 July 2022.
