Aiyedatiwa Vows to Protect Ondo Residents Amid Insecurity Concerns

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has reiterated that ensuring the security of lives and property is a top priority for his administration under the OUR EASE agenda.

Aiyedatiwa made this commitment on Wednesday during the third day of his statewide ‘Thank-You’ tour, which included visits to the Ose, Owo, and Akure North Local Government Areas.

The governor emphasized that his administration is prepared to confront and eliminate the activities of bandits and other criminal elements that have been terrorizing the border communities of the state.

He highlighted that the establishment of an Amotekun Rangers camp and the deployment of operatives have led to a significant reduction in criminal activities in the affected areas, allowing farmers and traders to conduct their businesses without fear.

Aiyedatiwa assured residents that security agencies are on high alert to protect lives and property. “We will not leave you alone and allow something bad to happen to you,” he stated.

He further noted that the enhanced security measures have restored public confidence and strengthened the relationship between the government and the people.
