Buhari’s Minister, Aisha Alhassan Resigns, May Join Atiku In PDP

The minister of women affairs and social development, Senator Aisha Alhassan has resigned her position president Buhari’s cabinet in order to contest the 2019 governorship election.

She however did not disclose to the public whether she is going to contest under the Ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State or not.

Investigation conducted by Starnews revealed that the former Minister will soon join the former vice president of this country, Ahlaji Atiku Abubakar in PDP according to a reliable source.

A close associate of Atiku hinted Starnews that the minister which he addressed as “mama Taraba” actually resigned his position from president Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet to enable her join Atiku in PDP to work for the realisation of the presidential ambition of the former vice president as earlier vowed by her.

Recall that Alhassan had in September 2017 publicly vowed that she would not support Buhari’s second term ambition on the claim that he had promised to serve only one term and that she would only support former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

The source hinted further that more cabinet members will soon resign and defect to the PDP, courtesy of Atiku Abubakar, just like we reported in one of our reports.
