Breaking News : APC NWC Annuls Lagos Congresses

The National Working Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has anulled all the Congresses held in Lagos State under the APC led administration of governor Akinwumi Ambode.

The decision of the NWC was hinged on the fact that the Congresses took place in 57 local governments instead of 20 local governments constitutionally recognised by law.

Meanwhile, The Lagos chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has threatened to sue the national working committee (NWC) for overruling the state’s congress conducted in the 57 council areas instead of 20.

Abiodun Salami, assistant publicity secretary of the party, issued the threat during an interview with NAN in Lagos.

Reacting, Salami described the NWCs decision on the main congress as mischievous, saying it was meant to scuttle things at the state’s chapter.

Details later..
