BREAKING: ICAN Ilupeju-Gbagada District elects Samuel Abey as new Chair

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Ilupeju/Gbagada & District Society, has elected Dr. Samuel Taiwo Abey, FCA, as the new Chairman.

Starnews NG reports that Dr Samuel Abey emerged the new Chairman on Saturday as the 4th Chairman of ICAN Ilupeju/Gbagada & District Society, Lagos, according to a statement signed by the General Secretary of the ICAN district, Dr Titilayo Eni-Itan Fowokan, FCA.

“This is to inform our esteemed Professional Colleagues that in line with the succession plan of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the District Societies’ Bye-law, Dr. Samuel Taiwo Abey, FCA has been elected as the 4th Chairman of ICAN Ilupeju/Gbagada & District Society, Lagos for 2024/25 Chairmanship year.

“The Election took place yesterday during the Exco Meeting with the Body of Past Chairmen in attendance,” the statement said.
