Anambra Election: APGA Confident Of Victory – Spokesperson

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is confident it will continue to lead Anambra State following the upcoming governorship election on November 8, 2025.

The party’s spokesperson, Ejimofor-Opara, stated that APGA is the most stable political group in Nigeria, citing its 18-year rule in the state.

According to Ejimofor-Opara, APGA’s governance has resulted in developments across education, healthcare, and agriculture.

He pointed to the hiring of 5,000 teachers under Governor Chukwuma Soludo as an example of the party’s commitment to progress.

He also expressed confidence that Anambra voters, who have seen tangible improvements, will support APGA again.

Ejimofor-Opara dismissed claims from the All Progressives Congress (APC) that they could take over the state, emphasizing that APGA’s internal stability and unity would ensure its continued success.

He further argued that the party’s focus on people’s welfare and infrastructure makes it the preferred choice in the state.

Addressing issues like federalism and the petroleum industry, Ejimofor-Opara advocated for greater state control over resources and local governance, believing it would lead to better development and security.

He also showed support for the tax bill in the National Assembly, stating that it could create a fairer revenue system if properly implemented.

Regarding the national scene, Ejimofor-Opara acknowledged past challenges within APGA but assured that the party had emerged stronger. He remains optimistic about APGA’s future, both in Anambra and across Nigeria.
