Aiyedatiwa Congratulates Bode Obanla on 60th Birthday

Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has congratulated Mr Bode Obanla on the occasion of his 60th birthday, describing him as a devoted public servant and a seasoned entrepreneur.

In a congratulatory message signed by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan,Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State,

Aiyedatiwa recalled Obanla’s tenure as Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement for the Ondo North Senatorial District, during which he said the celebrant demonstrated commitment to grassroots mobilisation, sensitivity to community concerns and loyalty to the principles of good governance.

“During his time in office, Mr Obanla showed uncommon dedication to community engagement and remained responsive to the needs and aspirations of the people,” Governor Aiyedatiwa said.

The Governor noted that Obanla’s contributions during his period in office strengthened public trust and encouraged broader participation in governance, particularly at the grassroots level where effective engagement remains critical to inclusive development.

He further observed that Obanla’s approach to community relations helped to reinforce the link between government and the people, ensuring that local issues were properly articulated and addressed within the framework of government policies and programmes.

Commending Obanla’s transition from public service to the private sector, the Governor described his entrepreneurial pursuits as reflective of resilience, creativity and a continued desire to contribute to societal progress.

“As the founder of one of the largest fashion design workshops in Akure, he has continued to impact lives by providing skills, employment and inspiration for many young people,” the Governor said.

Governor Aiyedatiwa wished the celebrant good health, renewed strength and continued success as he marks the milestone, adding, “I am confident that the years ahead will bring him fulfilment, prosperity and enduring impact.”
