The aggrieved governorship Aspirants in the just concluded governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State are currently meeting with the National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Ganduje, at the party’s secretariat in Abuja.

A source said Olusola Oke, Jimoh Ibrahim, Wale Akinterinwa and few others are insisting on the outright cancellation of the exercise.

Starnews NG reports that the next line of action on whether to pacify or conduct another election will be determined and communicated to the press by the National Chairman any time soon.

Starnews NG reports that virtually all the Aspirants are aggrieved about the upshot of the election which gave victory to the incumbent Governor of the state, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

The disgruntled Aspirants have been calling for the cancellation of the primary, particularly citing myriad irregularities.

The source said, “the Chairman of the party, Engr. Adetimehin is currently in Abuja at the meeting where Ganduje is meeting all the Aspirants.

“Oke and other Aspirants will know what to do next after the meeting”, the source said.
