Tributes from leaders across the country continue to flow in following the demise of Lady Evangelist Mrs Grace Akeredolu, the mother of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State.
Starnews Nigeria reports that the former Vice-Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Eddy Olafeso has mourned the deceased, describing her as an icon of family values.
Speaking with Starnews Nigeria in a telephone interview on Saturday, Dr Olafeso said, “Your Excellency, a beautiful soul has been called to Heaven. There will never be another mother like your biological mother. Your mother was an icon of family values. Honestly, words will never be enough to express how deeply she will be missed. My prayers are with you as you say goodbye to your wonderful mother”, he said.
Starnews Nigeria reports that Evangelist Akeredolu died in the early hours of Thursday at 90 years and is survived by many children including the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN).
No date has been fixed for her burial, The Hope learnt yesterday, as arrangements have begun in earnest for a befitting burial.
