Out-of-favour Super Eagles winger, Henry Onyekuru has completed a move to Turkish Super Lig side Adana Demirspor.

The Nigerian flew to Istanbul at the weekend to negotiate his move to Adana Demirspor, after Olympiacos granted permission.

According to Fanatik, the winger’s move is a year loan deal with an option to buy.

Onyekuru who twice played for Galatasaray on loan was sold to the Greek champions by Monaco for €4.5 million euros at the beginning of the season, and scored one goal and one assist in 27 appearances.

Reacting to the deal, Onyekuru said: “I am happy to have come to such a club. When I met some of my old teammates, they said that it would be one of the biggest clubs in Turkey in a few years.”

Murat Sancak, Adana Demirspor President said, “They offered it before, but I didn’t want it because of the cost. It was suggested again at the last moment, we agreed after intense negotiations. One year loan. If we are satisfied at the end of one year, we have the option to buy.”
